Federal Polytechnic Ilaro (ILAROPOLY) Post-COVID-19 Notice

This is to inform the entire staff and the students of Polytechnic that the Management has made adequate arrangement to fulfil the directions of both Federal Ministry of Education and the National Board for Technical Education (NBTE) on the Post COVID-19 precautionary measures and protocols which are prelude to the reopening of Federal Tertiary Insitutions in the Country.

The Rector is not unaware of the directive of the Executive Governor of Ogun State as per resumption and the eagerness of students to resume lectures after a long break. He is empathetic about this but more concerned about the students safety and the need to get the required clearance for reopening from the Proprietor of the Institution, that is, the federal Ministry of Education, Abuja.

You will please recall the efforts of the Management for lectures to be deliverd to students by Lecturers online and of recent through Coursera. These are the avenues towards ensuring that our students are kept occupied intelectually.

Therefore, the Rector urged all students to exercise more patience as the Institution’s gate will be opened to them as soon as we get clearance from the Federal Ministry of Education.

Thank you.

E-signed

Osore, A.F. (Mrs)

Registrar
